If you can get up to the Mets game when the class of 2011 goes, you can talk to your kid a little. My wife and daughters when up in 2005 while I was TDY. They said it was fun to see them all lined up and acting goofy.

KPMOM -- can I say goofy? Or is that against the PC code too?

Does anyone know what section the Candidates sit at the stadium during the game?

Cheap seats in the outfiled in 2005

I guess that group that always seems to be yelling and having all the fun!

My daughter and I went to Shea last year. We paid for cheap seats and pre game we sat illegally along the 3rd base line in box seats. We kept getting bounced, however we had a good view of the entire stadium up and around us. The class arrived during the middle of the 1st inning in their whites. Very easy to pick out from the distance. A continuous line of white filed up from the porticos. People all around stood and cheered. It was to say the least a very emotional moment for us. If you can get there, I reccommend it.

Did you get to spend any time with your Candidate?

Was hoping to watch the game from Shea on the Brave's Superstation, WTBS (broadcasts on most cable networks). However it looks like they are only broadcasting the game on Thursday. Sending the station an email to see if that's correct.

If it is not televised, you can watch the game on mlb.com. You will have to pay the minimum monthly subscription for $14.95.

Yes we did get to spend time with him in the concession area. They are allowed to leave their seats and roam the stadium. Approach them as if it was unplanned and surprise your Plebe Candidate.
