How many were able to get tickets for the Met game on Wed. I know MMAMom you're in. Anyone else? What's our game plan to have LIMITED CONTACT with our kid?

SCORE!!! the game will be on ESPN - We'll be watching in Texas!

ESPN Wednesday Night Baseball presented by Goodyear - Atlanta Braves vs. New York Mets

you probably will have a better view than us tmr.

Don't get your hopes up. I was gonna go, but was told it's a "bonding thing" and to not go. There will be VERY LIMITED CONTACT if any. Sorry.

Is ok...limited contact is better than none!

We went last year and spent quite a bit of time with our son. Saw lots of other parents/families with there p/c too. They certainly need to do some bonding and have fun but if you are willing to take the drive then I'd go for it. We watched about 20 minutes of the game but spent most of the time in the concession area and our son would come by and chat every once in a while. Just watching them all walk into the stadium sent shivers down my spine and brought tears to my eyes. We hadn't known where they would be sitting but knew that they weren't in the stadium yet (didn't see all of those new white uniforms) so we kept watch for them in the parking lot and happened to be on the same floor that they came in on. For those going - don't forget the camera!

Hope all of you who get to go, have a great time!! Give Klein, Co 4 a hug for me!

Ok family...pictures??? Any good family members would take and post pictures for us too far away to attend. :)

Have a great time and just tell all the P/C's that their parents wish they could be there too.

Any news yet if we can catch the game on tv?

SUPPORTMOM, do you guys get ESPN? I double checked what tmr said & I see on the ESPN schedule that we here in SC will get it Wed. night as well. I've cleared my schedule & will plant myself in front of the tv until I've seen PLEBES! :D

will be watching here in Atlanta...even though our mid is not there...cannot wait to see the mma guys and gaLs dressed up in their whites........they will have such a good time.... he he...go Braves...so sorry cannot help myself

Just can't wait to get off of work and RUSH home to watch the game. It starts at 4:30 California time so I will miss the beginning. However, thanking all in advance that can take pics and post. I think my son cant wait to go to the snack bar..........something about eating 62 hotdogs???? No maybe that was someone else that said that......

I've got the Nikon all charged up and an empty memory card. Plan to take as many photos as I can! Don't worry I'll share on line!

We'll be there too....camera in hand......USMMA t-shirts and neon green hats......sweatin' it out with the M/Ns.......if you see us, say hello!!

Are we allowed to go to their section or do we redezvous at the concession stand? I'll be wearing my PINK KP tee shirt too! I'll take picture but have to figure out how to post them on line. Not too computer savy.

NC has the game on ESPN, I will be watching high def. Hope I can recognize my P/C better in a sea of white than I did at Indoc. :)

Not only will I be trying to pick out my P/C in the sea of white, but also watching for flashes of neon green or pink tees holding cameras near the Mids. Unleash the Parental Paparazzi. Looking forward to parents posting pics as available.

Hmmm, maybe they'll post pictures on the standard USMMA website?

You parents are just amazing folks. Thanks so much for the great information you share, as well as the extra efforts to include lots of Mids into your 'extended family'. These kids have bound together faster and more positively than I could have imagined -- and the extra thoughts/hugs from those close enough is just comfort food for their souls.

The stories and pictures you share reflect how much they are growing. Amazing!

Thanks KP parents. One thing that I love about all of this is the support. Hopefully, I will catch a glimpse of 2011 on the tv but if not, I will look forward to all of those postings.

Any suggestions on alternate routes to Shea heading northbound from I95? The mapquest directions take us through Manhattan.... during rush hour...we might miss the whole game! Thanks for any help.....

It's possible that your p/c may show up on the Mets Photo site. They take photos around the stadium and then post them on their website and you can browse photos by game and then purchase them. I found several photos last year of my son holding their spirit banner up in the stadium. What fun and a great memento! The 2nd link is to the photos from last year for any 2010 parents that didn't know about it. Hope they take a lot of photos of this years p/c!
