I am patiently waiting for my letter concerning miami u. and their harrison scholarship (basically a full ride to their honors college) but I just realized something,
if i do get the scholarship, i'm sure i will have a deadline in which i need to make my decision. . .
my question is: all of my other apps are rd, so i won't know until like april, how am i supposed to make a decision about miami if i don't know about any other school i applied to?
miami isn't my first choice, in fact, its probably at the bottom of my list but a full ride is enticing. . .

Even with scholarship offers, most colleges adhere to an agreement with, I think, NACAC, that means you have until May 1 to tell them about whether you accept their admission offer. There have been students who've posted here about colleges' pressuring them to make a decision earlier, but every time, when the students have politely reminded colleges about the May 1 decision date, the colleges have given them until then to decide.

cstone-- there is no acceptance deadline for the Harrison other than the deadline to confirm, and Miami did not pressure me to commit before then.
