Accepted two days ago through the portal, OOS from Michigan. Direct admission into Farmer School of Business.
So I emailed to ask about merit scholarships, and the lady said we should hear back in 1-2 weeks
@10chances Yes, my daughter heard back yesterday and was accepted into Honors program and pre Med Scholars Program as well.
My S got accepted EA in Computer Science with UHP and UASP offers. So excited and waiting for merit awards…3.7 UW GPA (4.15 W GPA), 34 ACT, Sports and Leadership Skills, OOS

For those that have been accepted, did you fill out the FAFSA? I did not fill out a FAFSA, and have not heard back yet on acceptance. @afr123 and @ilovemiami1628 did you both fill out the FAFSA and not hear back?

Filling out the FAFSA won’t have anything to do with getting accepted or its timing.
@lorhop (& other), if you don’t mind me asking, what does it exactly say about Pre-Medical Scholars? My daughter’s portal say “Co-Major Pre-Medical Studies” but there is no link (like there was for the University Honors Program on her portal) so I’m assuming this means she didn’t get into the Pre-Medical Scholars Program
Filled out FAFSA prior to submitting D’s EA. 3 visits to school and 2 meetings with Dean/Staff. No word yet. Are they sending out acceptance alphabetically or via selected major? Seems like everyone who has been accepted is either FSB and a few sciences. Haven’t noticed many other postings.
@OhioMom6 My D’s letter on the Portal says “It is our pleasure to invite you to join the University Honors Program (UHP) and the Premedical Scholars cohort of the University Academic Scholars Program.” It also says additional details about the premedical scholars cohort will be sent to you in the coming weeks. My D’s portal also lists her primary major and her co major as pre-medical studies.
S applied to farmer EA, filled out FAFSA, visited often, attended Bridges, got email asking preferred name, hasn’t heard anything. Did everyone that has been accepted or heard back apply honors? Any denials at all yet? Did everyone get email asking preferred name regardless of EA or ED status?
D got the email asking preferred name, applied EA and has not heard back.
Thanks, I’m beginning to think that only the cream of the crop/honors applications were notified so far. I saw a person’s acceptance letter on twitter that stated something along the lines of “outstanding credentials” were the reason they were notified earlier than deadline. My S does not have outstanding credentials, just average. Congratulations to all those that have been accepted so far, your hard throughout high school is impressive and paying off!
EA. Accepted 12/23. Engineering. UHP & UASP. new SAT 1450. ACT 33 (34 superscore). GPA 3.9UW/4.4W. two time national medalist in ice dance.
D applied a few days before Dec. 1 EA deadline, didn’t get e-mail about preferred name, filled out FAFSA, didn’t visit or show interest. Heard back mid Dec. and offered UHP and UASP. I think it’s difficult to make any predictions based on past or current postings here, but I wish you good luck!
