<p>I don't know how ACT scores compare to SAT scores so here's what I have.
SAT: 800 M, 650 V, 660 W (Will retake in Oct.)
SAT2: 800 M2c, 780 Chem</p>
<p>Is that above average enough to help pull my lower GPA? Maybe school does help. I asked my counselor and no one from my school has been rejected/waitlisted/deferred from last 3 years. I really don't want to break the trend and I'm still concerned.</p>
<p>That will help your GPA wherever you apply. Both your school and your SAT score. Verbal is low, but Math is fine. I don't think U-Mich considers SAT II's.</p>
<p>If your GPA is below 3.6, I don't think you should consider it though.</p>

<p>What I don't agree with is the idea that it's harder for OOS students because Michigan favors (or better understands) in-state high schools over out-of-state high schools. If I misinterpreted you and you never meant that, I guess you could see why if you go back and re-read some earlier posts.</p>
