Michigan Add Info Section?

I don't know how ACT scores compare to SAT scores so here's what I have.
SAT: 800 M, 650 V, 660 W (Will retake in Oct.)
SAT2: 800 M2c, 780 Chem

Is that above average enough to help pull my lower GPA? Maybe school does help. I asked my counselor and no one from my school has been rejected/waitlisted/deferred from last 3 years. I really don't want to break the trend and I'm still concerned.

That will help your GPA wherever you apply. Both your school and your SAT score. Verbal is low, but Math is fine. I don't think U-Mich considers SAT II's.

If your GPA is below 3.6, I don't think you should consider it though.

OOS is much tougher at Michigan, because there aren't that many OOS spots avaliable

I'd agree with this.

What I don't agree with is the idea that it's harder for OOS students because Michigan favors (or better understands) in-state high schools over out-of-state high schools. If I misinterpreted you and you never meant that, I guess you could see why if you go back and re-read some earlier posts.
