You were being oversensitive. I didn't say FLA deserved it better than Michigan. You seem to somehow think I am anti-Michigan when I've been just offering my honest analysis.

Not that it mattered now but since you were challenging me, I'd say USC still had a tougher schedule (in fact, it was too tough at the end....they would love to have teams like Illinois, Northwestern or Indiana sandwiching between instead of 3 tough games + 1 rivalry game in 4 consecutive weeks). Nebraska was not getting "blown out". They had more offensive yards but lost by 2 TD. You were exaggerating. Nebraska isn't likely to drop more than 6 spots just because they lost the Big12 championship game. Arkansas had 3 losses but one of them was from USC. Another one of them was from SEC championship game--an extra game they had to play against another top team. Nebraska was also playing its 13th game. I personally think the Big10's conference schedule is more lenient than others. They don't have to play with everybody within its own conference and they don't have the championship game. These two facts make their W/L ratio kinda inflated. I am saying this even I went to a Big 10 school. Wisc didn't have to play with Ohio State and they have achieved their current rank not by beating someone good but by teams previously in front of them beating each other up. Penn State is another team that didn't beat anybody. I am sorry; Oregon State is already ahead of Penn State and is gonna be ranked in the human poll after beating ranked Hawaii. Penn State probably won't be in top-25 in the human poll and to me, they don't deserve to be.

Few people admit when they are wrong. I guess you are not one of those select few. At any rate, when PSU and Wisconsin win their bowl games, you will not have a leg to stand on. For now, I just hope Michigan comes out on top of Florida later today. And IF Michigan should finish 3rd in today's BCS poll, Michigan and USC will have a chance to prove which team is indeed better! LOL!

PS: I was not being oversensitive, I just don't think you were right. And With #20 and #23 losing, #26 PSU should be ranked in the top 25 in the BCS poll. So USC and Michigan will both have played 4 top 25 BCS teams...hardly an advantage when you consider that 3 of the teams Michigan played are ranked in the top 10 compared to just one for USC.

alexandre... u cannot account the fumbles on the snap, in neway watsoever, to the michigan D

their center had a freakin cast...

but, hopefully that wont matter too much... i really hope UF doesnt jump us... but then again, i dont thnk i could stand another loss to OSU if we get there...

It's a general consense that USC's schedule strength is tougher. The computer indicated that also. I was explaining why that's the case since you went out of your own way to say otherwise despite the fact Michigan had 2 DIVISION 1-AA teams on their schedule. Why should I amit I was wrong?? I guess you are saying everybody is wrong except you. Nebraska isn't gonna drop out of top-25 in the BCS although you think they "should". lol!

About what? Read again; I was just saying "now comes FLA" (entering the debate). I didn't say who was better.

Unfortunately, almost none of the pollsters decided to appropach the BCS poll it was intended. The BCS game should not be about which team won its conference or whether or not two teams played each earlier in the season. The BCS championship game is supposed to match up the top 2 teams in the nation, regardless. And yet, somehow, that didn't happen. Instead, you can sum up the events of the last 24 hours in Terry Bowden's article below.

Most voters would agree with Terry but somehow forgot what the BCS title game should be all about. Oh well, the Rose Bowl is not too bad a fall back.

I know the Rose Bowl is great, and playing a great team like USC is awesome, but we should be in the national championship no doubt and that annoys me...

Isn't it sad that the BSC commissioner is also a representative of the SEC conference?? That's just BS right there

But ya know what...Ohio State will destroy Florida in the N.C and Florida will be embarassed...Michigan, hopefully, will defeat USC Jan 1 and then people will finally realize what the matchup shoulda been

yea... i really wish that florida gets their s*it wrecked, loses by 3tds so evry1ll know who shouldve been there... assuming umich takes care of SC

Most analysts seem to think that Henne and Hart are retruning next year. The big question mark are Long, Branch and Crable. Those are the three Juniors who are the most likely to skip their senior year. Long and Branch would be very difficult to replace. I hope those two decide to stay. Crable is also important because we lose so much at the LB positon, but given the fact that he already has two kids, I say he is gone.

Michigan should have little trouble taking care of USC. However, there are two concerns I have:

1) The Rose Bowl is virtually a home game for the two Los Angeles teams. I realize it isn't their stadium, but the proximity to their campuses unavoidably makes it so.

2) On the 2nd of January, Michigan would have been idle for 6 weeks compare to just 4 weeks for USC. Generally speaking, the team with the longer layoff will be a little rustier in the first half of the game.

This said, I think USC will have a lot of trouble with Michigan's defense.

agreed. this is the only time I will say cheer for OSU. I hope they slaughter florida so bcs will know what a huge, stupid mistake they've made...and never make it again if this ever happens again
