Has Michigan given out scholarships to those accepted Early Action? If you were accepted already and haven’t gotten a scholarship with your financial aid, does that mean you did not get one? Also, what is the average amount of michigan scholarships.
bump
Yes I got my scholarship with financial aid I got 1500 regents scholarship (basically top 25% of in state ppl accepted) but some ppl have gotten full rides or 20k scholarships but u have to be outstanding and/or poor
This was a few years ago…but my kiddo was accepted EA. We didn’t learn about her scholarship until a week or so before Easter. I have a distinct memory of this, because I got her a Michigan shirt for her last Easter basket at home…I was so excited. We did not get her official award letter that included the scholarship until April 16th. We were sent several versions of the award letter. First an estimate on March 6th, then an official award letter on April 3rd (both had grant aid, and loan information, but nether had the scholarship) Then, on April 16…a revised letter that included the departmental scholarship. Hers was a 20K departmental scholarships. 5K for 4 years. (I just checked her award letter history to verify these dates).
Hang in there and try to be patient. I know it’s tough. Been there.
Hi, I´ve been accepted EA for LSA and I just received my official award letter and I got the estimated letter about a month ago. By any chance do you know either if I accept the money now, will it not be revised? or if I don´t accept it now, could it be revised to give me even less money?
What do you mean by “accept”? If you enroll in the university, it’s considered accepted. It WILL be revised --upward–when the new tuition is announced in June. It would only be revised downward if they think you provided fraudulent numbers.
