Is everyone getting a packet in the mail as well? If so, how long after your status changed online?
My son got accepted on November 19 and has not yet received anything in the mail.
I got a folder wrapped in a flag on November 16. I also live a little more than 5 min from campus.
How long after your acceptance email did you receive it?
5 days.
How does MSU notify of a decision? Is it via the status page or email? And do they send out decisions on Saturdays?
They send an email saying that your status in your account has changed.
Oh, thanks, is it almost instantly after the status has changed or like some other schools that send an email 12-48 hours after the status has changed?
It is almost instantly. Checked portal the night before and no update. Received email early next morning.
I feel like itās pretty quickly after. My daughter had checked her status through her account at 6pm and it hadnāt changed. Around 9pm she got an email saying there was a status change and when she logged in it was updated to accepted.

My daughter was also accepted on November 19th we live in Michigan and have not received letter in the mail.
Got accepted just now!!! a little surprised it came out on a Sunday

Mine lives in Michigan too. I wonder if they get sent out in bulk like 1x per month or something.
Still waiting and now getting very anxious!
I am an international student from Pakistan and 2 of my friends also got their decision at the same time so I think decisions come out counselor-wise cuz we had the same counselor.
More than likely. My daughter has five friends who are all excepted and have yet to receive a letter.
Although I know she was officially excepted for whatever reason Iām extremely anxious to receive a letter in the mail

My S22 was accepted on the portal on 11/19 and he hasnāt received any snail mail or an invitation to apply for honors college. Heās OOS - California.

The flag came in the mail today, so that was a fun boost for D22!

12/06 Mail wrapped in flag arrived
We havenāt visited campus yet, so hopefully, we can do that soon and then get the financial info in place so she can compare it to her other acceptances. I think sheāll qualify for a nice scholarship, which would bring the price down below our flagship (UIUC).
