when is your deposit due?

In response to dorise, it depends on how many college credits you have completed, for instance i am transferring close to 60 therefore i didnt have to send my ACT or SAT...Sorry Bok, you got that one wrong, they will and do read your app well before the scores come, and depending on your status like i mentioned they might not require you to send it.. Deposit is due May 1

My Stats.

GPA - 3.42 In state
ACT/SAT-never sent
EC/Rec's--lots UMich loves em so send plenty.
Applied to LSA, deferred on 2-1, accepted on 4-10 YAY!!

good luck all

CorporateAmerica: Sorry, completely missed your posts. Yeah, those projects sound like a very good thing. Colleges care about that kind of stuff... having something to show for your skills.

As for the stats, that reminds me: anyone got into engineering yet, or know how the competition/stats/etc are like? I'm seriously banking my hopes on Michigan, and seeing some of these crazy applicants on this forum makes me a bit worried...

Freshman
Current major: Bio (technically "undecided") at Boston College
Applying for biomedical engineering
GPA: 3.71... but that's with only 4 classes, so I dunno (I did take organic chem (A) and molec cell bio (B+), so that might mean something, right?)
Expecting 3.5-3.6 this sem if all goes well (6 classes)
HS GPA: 4.17/5
SAT1: 800M/760V (2 attempts), SAT2: 800 math IIC, 780 in writing/bio/chem
AP: nine 5s, one 4
ECs: That's what worries me the most... only a bit of math stuff in HS, and pretty much literally nothing here in college.

edit: I also need to decide about summer classes. I'll probably have to sign up before I get the decision. Damn.

About a week ago or so, I emailed the admissions counselor (whom I believe handles my files) about when I may expect a decision, and was told the applications were still under review and no certain dates can be said; so I guess all we can do now is wait.

deposit is due May 1, some of my others schools wont let me know until Mid May.......is there anyway to delay the date?

is May 1rst just the priority, not the just the cut-off can someone check (im supposed to be doing homework)

at least you guys heard back already. i have to wait until june-july to hear back from ross.. haha.

dames,

don't worry about the ec's for engineering transfer to umich. They don't askk or really care about them it seems. I appled to and got accepted to enroll in fall of 06' in the ME program. I'm currently a freshmen at Oakland university with a 3.55 cumulative GPA. Don't worry too much about high school stats. As long as you have the right gpa (3.5+ for biomed I think) and have all the prereqs then you should be fine.

I was accepted, but withdrew my admission last night. Good luck to everyone!
