<p>Hey guys! This is just a heads up to you all: there are tons of mid hounds in Annapolis. These are girls who will hook up with you just because you go to the Academy. I know that a ton of girls at my highschool are mid hounds, as are many girls in downtown. So if you're off the Academy, watch out. You probably will be approached and hit on by one of them (just happened at my prom this weekend). If you're into that than you're set for 4 years but if you're not watch out for girls who just want to use you. Just thought I'd give you a warning so some of you don't find out when you get here and good luck preparing for I-day!</p>

<p>Sorry, guys. Just because girls talk to you does not mean they are looking to hook into a future naval officer. I grew up near West Point and my friends and I went to the dances all of the time. We were just looking to have some fun and meet people we hadn't known since kindergarten. Some of the guys took themselves so seriously we had to ditch them. I became very adept at climbing out the window of the ladies' room to get away from the worst of them. </p>

<p>I was in DC this weekend with a teacher and classmates and saw many Navy guys.... my teacher was like, "Marley....dang, girl, now I see why you want to go to the Naval Academy!! Those white uniforms look SHARP!"</p>
