Rather than sending out an official mid-year report this year my schools guidence department just sent out a report card. On the report card there are my midterm test grades which were: 72 Ap Physics, 78 Spanish V, 83 Ap Gov, 90 Ap lit, and 96 Ap calc. These grades were actually all quite good relative to the rest of my class mates. So my question is, will these be looked apon badly. My corresponding first semester grades were: 94 Ap Physics, 88 Spanish V, 90 Ap Gov, 95 Ap lit, and 96 Ap Calc. Will my actual first semester grades have more weight? None of the midterms were weighted. Will my grades in the classes kind of cancel out the "bad" midterm grades?

Generally, we focus our attention on the actual semester grades and not the exam grades. We may take note of the exam grades since two of them were the C-range but for the most part, our attention will be focused on your final semester grades and not your exam grades.
