mid year comparison

<p>Okay, so I got a mid year request. How would this look to USC?</p>

<p>Schedule, 2nd semester Junior Year
Bible (required) - B-
US History - B+
Spanish 2 - A-
AP Calculus - B-
Chemistry - B
English 11 - A-
Teacher's Aide - Pass
GPA: 3.5</p>

<p>Schedule, 1st semester Senior Year
AP English - A-
Speech - A+
Bible - A
AP Physics - B
Government - A-
Spanish 3 - B+
Band - A+
GPA: 4.0</p>

<p>I have a more rigorous schedule this year (oh, and fyi...those AP classes are the only ones my school offers. those and one other honors class, which i took in sophomore year. sad, right? well in a class of 38, what can you expect) so I'm hoping that had a good effect.</p>

<p>My status is stuck on "We have received your mid-year grades" (3/13)</p>

<p>You should be fine, but are those GPA's weighted? I didn't calculate it, but how can you be at 3.5 with those B-'s?</p>
