Does having straight As (as in not even any A-) sent out on the mid year report significantly help your chances of admission? Or is it something that doesn't really matter, unless you significantly screwed up?

yes iwould like to know as well…

it really doesn’t matter. they’re assuming that you’re good students and that you’re continuing the trend that you’ve set your entire high school career - which is good grades.

Depends on the type of classes. I knew some Seniors that took all easy classes, the last year just to look good with A’s. I’m talking about Art Classes, Computer Classes, even PE.
If they are like AP, Honors, ADV classes, then it’s a very good thing for you.
