<p>How greatly does the mid-year report impact admission decisions? For example, I've gotten mostly straight As through high school, and I'm applying to my colleges now. The reports get sent out in February, and I've finished up the first marking period with a couple of Bs.</p>
<p>However, my senior year schedule is significantly more difficult than previous years, and I am also working now. Would grades just a bit more sub-par than previous years hurt? What if one were to get, say, a C? Would that kill chances, especially for tiers such as Duke and UPenn? How much should I be worrying?</p>
