I was recently admitted to the computer engineering program. I realized that I didn’t put algebra 1 as a class. I took it as an 8th grader and took algebra 2 as a freshman and geometry over the summer of my 8th-grade year. My friends told me it is not a big deal. However, is there a chance that cal poly will rescind my application.
nope. they only care about middle school classes for admissions. To get admitted to CPE you’ve already far exceeded the minimum class requirements to not get rescinded. Congrats on your admission.
In years past, you wouldn’t have gotten in with that mistake, as it would have cut 500 points off your MCA. The new CSU application didn’t account for those classes like the old application did. It created much confusion for so many students that they just blew it off and gave everyone credit whose higher maths implied they took those courses.
