I believe when I went on a high school exchange to america you could not be granted a US visa if you had a dual citizenship, since you didn't need one to be allowed to go to school in america.
It should be the same for college? but i don't know.

If you're a dual citizen, you are not international. Don't worry about that.
I lived about 11 years in Brasil if I add all the time up, and only 6 in this country. I'm still a citizen. :)

17 days guys. oh man am i dying to get that letter - preferably an acceptance one haha.

I got an e-mail from Middlebury about some missing financial forms.

We require the following additional information in order to make a financial aid determination.

I haven't gotten an early letter from admissions, but does anyone know if this is a good sign? Do waitlisted applicants also receive their financial aid awards in their envelopes?

Midd requires onlu CSS Profile from applicants. Only after admissions (and before May 1) are admitted students asked to file the FAFSA and provide tax returns etc.

Whch forms, AvantTao, were you asked to provide?

A copy of a birth certificate and an Estimate Income worksheet.

The financial aid office is separate from the admissions office. I would not take your receipt of this note to mean anything other than what it says--they're missing some stuff.

it's almost hereee!!! =) so what has everyone been doing to keep busy?

This semester in general is going by really fast. Pardon being cliche, but it REALLY seems like just yesterday this thread started lol

senior year has kept me busy, when I'm not busy..sleep is good. :D

I had to go to the top of the page to see if it really did start yesterday!! :)

Are we at 16 days now?
AH!!!

Isn't it crazy to think about how in just two short weeks, almost a year's worth of stress and worry will explode into a singular moment of victory or defeat?

I'm sorry, but I find the thought incredibly exciting and incredibly relevant to life in general.

Oh the anxiety...... X]

JEHBkjhuhieufhesiuhUIhiuhiuhiUHUhUIHPIJAFLKN.

just to add my two cents and agree with deferredvictim

IIIIIIIIH!!!

I agree too.
It's so unlikely that I'll get accepted that it's stupid of me to hang out so much in this thread and get my hopes up. But yeah...

Oh my god Midd decisions are so soon ahfauiewhtbdjfashf!

I haven't been hanging around this thread that much but my hopes are definitely up and it is not good. I need to stop, hahaha. It's so hard when all of your friends are getting NYU decisions and USC decisions and WUSTL decisions and you're still patiently waiting for basically all of your schools.

Tell me about it bananafish!! A lot of my friends already know where they are going and yet I'm here waiting to hear back from 9 schools...

bananafish and defferredvictim, absolutely! I've gotten into UMass and haven't heard conclusively from any other schools, and people are forever asking me where I'm going to college next year...and then I have to tell them that I haven't heard back from 10 schools!! :(

But then there's part of me that wants to not hear back, since once I do get rejected from some places I won't be able to daydream about going to school there...

Exaaactly guys, I got into Binghamton back in January but I'm waiting on 13 schools, all of which I would go to above Bing (except maybe Bates, which my parents won't pay for, haha) and my teachers always ask me where I'm going to school next year and I have to say that I have no idea. I'm sure I'll be getting at least a few rejections, but I desperately want to know where...checking the mail has become a ridiculous affair, and it's only the middle of the month!

I haven't gotten in anywhere!!! I applied to 10 schools and am just waiting forever...

I agree with all of you. The feeling of not being in anywhere is crazy! I want to go to Midd really bad, I really do!
