Middlebury RD 2013

I only have 1 acceptance letter and I applied to 10 colleges too! But all this hard (may) soon be all over with those letter :).

Son has NO acceptance letters. None. Nada. Yes, the nerves are a little short these days.

I've actually been having dreams about this for the past few days . . . I've woken up either relieved or disappointed (depending on the imaginary decision). If I'm this antsy when we're over two weeks out then I suspect things won't be pretty on the 26th or the 27th.

2 weeks left...

yeah. But at least now we can hope for an early acceptance.

agreed saaamie - today i will be watching my mailbox like a hawk - but i doubt i have the SAT scores to garner the early acceptance - but hey hope is always nice.

hey but saaammie aren't you waiting for those other letters still too? the 28th will probably come before we ever would get an early letter anyway!! :S sigh this is killing me

As early acceptance would be great, but the application status says that my application is still under review...

canadianemigre, i am.... gaah, why can't we get any mail?

Sorry to be a pain, but I believe middlebury's early writes have been sent out a while ago. Don't get your hopes up. Just be hopeful for the regular decision date!

haha, i'm trying to get my hopes down right now.
i'm way too hopeful.

wwwwwhhhy is it spring break?????? i need to be busy again so i can stop thinking about decisions!!!!

Can someone explain to me what exactly an early acceptance letter signifies?
My best friend and I both applied to Middlebury RD and she got accepted a few days ago and I still haven't gotten a letter and we're practically neighbors (it's not a mail delivery problem)...
She doesn't really want to go there but I'm DYING to go...so I'm pretty upset...does a late letter mean a rejection?????

Lareine: The folks at Midd send early letters to those applicants whom they deem to be most impressive. Getting an early letter means that Midd is particularly keen to snag you.

However, the vast majority of the kids who get in DON'T get early letters -- they get regular letters (so you really shouldn't panic at this point). Everybody's decisions will be online on the 28th.

I think they usually send them to 'high qualified applicants' who are likely to be accepted to other top schools.
But I could be wrong.

Is this around the time Midd sends early letters? I already got two from Wes and Colby and I'm hoping to get one from Midd soon...

I can already feel that the past few weeks went by A LOT faster than these next two will

I feel like my shots are out because my app status still says incomplete when I sent everything in, but the general ending of the month should be a nice closure to the entire college app process! :D Anticipation is almost worse than anything else!

I just got an early regular decision acceptance letter from Midd! It was sent on March 6th, but it took a while to get here as I am international.
It was a really nice letter written about my application and how impressed they were by my essays, EC's, jobs etc. In the end it had some really nice hand-written comments by the dean of admissions and some professors and an invitation to go visit Midd. =)
I'm really excited and flattered about it...

WOW!
and you're an international?
Congratulations!
Where are you from?

WOW, Zorgoski!

(I hope I receive one too, maybe it'll take a few days more lol)
