Midnight showings?!? Question.

Me and my friends want to see Inception at midnight. I was wondering what time we should go get our tickets and stuff. I was thinking maybe 8 since it's not going to be such a big movie like Eclipse (gay) or anything. What does anybody else think?

I thought the title was “Midnight showers” for some reason.

Can you purchase your tickets online? If not, then that would probably suffice.

Well I don’t want to pay for 5 people online that’s why.

Go to Fandango, prepurchase tickets, print out voucher. Arrive 10 minutes before showtime, walk past everyone, bring voucher to ticket sales person, and claim tickets. Skip inordinately long lines.

If you want to end up in the same theater, you’ll need to buy your tickets online at the same time (have one buyer). Discuss it with your friends and have them pay you back when you get to the theater.

I went to see Iron Man 2 at midnight. Well, I showed up there at 9 hoping to beat the crowd. Me and my friends were the first ones in the theater. We sat there for three hours. Kind of overkill.

Well what we were gonna do was go around 8 get the tickets and hang out around the area (it’s near A LOT of stuff) and then wait until there is a line starting up.

Maybe you could go out to dinner with them.

I think that you should just have them pay you back for the tickets though.

Well I don’t have $60+ right now to pay for everyone and then have them pay me back, that’s the issue. I think there’s about 7 of us going.

That’s dedication if I ever saw it

Well Iron Man 2 was a good movie. I did that for a pre-screening show for the Last Airbender. Awful movie, too.

^I’d rather sit in someone’s lap than get there 3 hours early

Haha yeah.

As a 170 pound dude, sitting in someone’s lap was unfortunately not an option.

Are you tall?
