Midterm grades and chances now?

So I'm trying to transfer into UMD-college park or UMBC. Right now I'm freshman and an engineer major. What would my chances now? Also should I send my midterm grades to my colleges I am applying to? (college dosen't have an option to send midterm grades, but I can still ask)

I was also trying to find other colleges where I can finical help at. Does anyone have any colleges around Maryland, (such as new york, new jersey, Pennsylvania) that can give me the finical help I need. I was thinking about applying to Drexel University

Thanks for your help if you answer anyone of my questions! I really appreciate any advice.

Are you at community college now? Are you in-state for Ccllege Park and UMBC? Those things make a difference.

The priority app deadlines for those schools have passed. The regular admission deadlines are sometime in May or June, so you’d have your grades for this semester by then. However, UMBC does rolliing admissions while College Park does not (they won’t look at your app until after the regular admission deadline).

College Park is more competitive than UMBC; UMBC expects a 2.5 or better college GPA for transfers, so you’d be in good shape overall. I don’t know if standards are different for engineering.
