From my school, three people have been accepted, two have been asked to submit the midyear report, and two (including myself) have not been contacted at all. Those that receive requests for midterm grades are borderline on acceptance; those that do not are most likely clearly in or rejected.

The only people that applied from my school are the top 2...which makes me look bad, lol. One is already admitted.

I also received a mid-year reports request, but when I attempted to submit them online the url address led me to an error page. Anyone else have this problem or know where I can find the correct form?

ok this is sooo confusing sorry!

i DID get the letter regarding no scholarship but further review, and on the bottom it said if you haven't sent in ur MYR, send them in at the website..

BUT i DIDN'T receive that other separate letter some peope got specifically asking them to send it in...

so should i send in a MYR or not? =/

yes, send MYR in, it's required for scholarship applicants

Wait...scholarship applicants too? So if I'm a candidate for one of the scholarships, I need to send one in? I don't remember reading that in the letter... ack I'm confused.

yeah, it says so on tehe website, I'll post the link when I find it, but I know I read it...

Are you applying for scholarships?

If yes, you must apply by Dec. 10, 2005 and also send us:

* Transcript showing fall 2005 grades, when they become available

the link is : http://afaweb.esd.usc.edu/dcpage2.cfm?PageBaseID=50084

guidez89: i applied by dec.10, but i was accepted a couple weeks ago... I don't need to send in my updated transcript, do I? i tried to log on to the online submit form, but it wouldn't let me.... so i'm guessing i don't need to. (this probably seems like a retarded question...but oh well.)

You should be fine, but if there's a problem they should contact you.

okay thanks : )

I think you'll be fine. If you've been accepted, it probably does not apply for you. I'm sure they'll contact you if a MYR is needed though.

I was not a scholarship applicant, but I just got the MYR form in the mail. I got all scared thinking it was a rejection letter since it was small!

Thank god...

My request was confusing as well. I am positive I had already submitted a 6 semester Transcript from my school, but I received a letter that said:
We have reviewed your application and we cannot proceed without the following documents:
*An Official High School Transcript showing the MOST RECENT status of your record.

At first I assumed this was the famous MYR request form, but now I see this is totally different. Why? Why ask this way if they already had a Transcript? I sent a new transcript that included the 7th semester anyway, but why was my request written like this?

Can anybody answer?

Hey I read on another opst that we needed to actually send in our mid year grades. But on the letter I recieved it just told me to report them online and to only send them in if I couldn't access it online. Do I still need to send in an actual report card or just the online report?

you can just do the online report if you want.

is there any benifit to sending in an actual report card?

The online mid-year report form said to fill out the grades online and then to also send in a copy of your report card, so I think you have to do both.

did it say to also send them in?

i just got the request, and just filled it out online.
so, i must also mail my grades in? that seems like a waste.

well, they want to make sure the grades are valid. Get an official transcript from your school...
