Hello im new to this site and i just had a small question...
so i recentlly got accepted to stonybrook and i heard a college could drop you based on your midyear grades.
my senior first quarter grades were excellent and all in the 90s but this quarter (second quarter), my english went down to like a 70. my other grades stayed constant and i was just wondering will this affect my admision status? do colleges really only care about your final senior year gpa or do they take in midyear reports just as well?

It depends. Some do. Stonybrook doesn’t want midyear reports, just the final transcript.

My friend got in ED to Dartmouth and only needs to maintain a cumulative 2.0 gpa. I’d say you’re fine.

So no midyear report for stonybrook? What about schools like binghamton geneseo and oswego??

they dont need it either.

you in da clear homie G

What exactlly would it take to get unaccepted to stony brook then?

why do you want to get unaccepted to stonybrook?

Failing multiple classes/Committing a Felony

Lol i dont want to get unaccepted thats why iv been buggin out. So only if i fail a class i should be worried?

failing a class is bad but you should pass all your classes and you should be fine. it doesnt have to be all As.

like i said. you should be good with that C
