<p>What is the deadline for the midyear report to be sent in? My school's midyear isn't until the end of this month, so obviously I don't have midyear grades yet. I'd assume they'd want you to send it as soon as midyear grades are in, but I just want to make sure.</p>
<p>Hmm ya thats weird that they dont have an "official" deadline, but i imagine as soon as you could would likely be optimal. My guess tho is that they want to see mainly that youre still taking hard courses and havent slacked off much.</p>

<p>zking: You don't receive a grade in between semesters? I would write MIT to notify them of this, or preferably, get your school to print off your grades as they are and have your counselor verify them.</p>
<p>Schools in Bangalore are based off of an end-of-year exam. Only 10% of our grade is determined by the teacher, the rest is exam-based. So, there's no real midyear grades, even. It's all assessed in the end. In my school report, the counselor sort of mentioned this. I'm wondering if it needs to be explicitly stated.</p>
