Might fail my IGETC lab course. Would I get rescinded from UCs?

I'm a community college student right now. I have a ~3.7 (as of the end of Fall 2013) and have almost all my IGETC courses complete. However... I am currently taking my 1 unit science lab course and I might actually end up getting a D. Three of my current courses right now in the current Spring semester fulfill my remaining IGETC requirements, including the lab.

If I get admitted, would I get rescinded if I withdraw or fail the class? I saw on the UC website that there's such a thing as partial IGETC certification if I am missing no more than 2 requirements but I'm not sure if that would apply to my case still. I'm going to be a Communication major and I applied to UCLA, UCSD, and tagged to UCSB (I already know I'm probably not getting into LA though).

It depends I think. I have a friend who got rescinded for failing a completely irrelevent class during his Spring semester last year, so I would think that if it involved IGETC it might be likely. I think a lot of colleges have provisional contracts they give you when they accept you, and a lot of these usually include a ‘don’t fail any classes’ clause
