Possible UC Berkeley Admission Rescind (IGETC Certification Problem)

<p>Hi CC. I got into my dream school at Berkeley and found out today that I wouldn't be able to get my full IGETC certification. </p>

<p>The IGETC requires students to take a physical/biological science class with a lab and one without. My problem is I took two physical/biological science classes without a lab and my community college can only certify me for a partial IGETC certification because of it. It explicitly states in my terms of admissions that partial IGETC certification is not accepted at Berkeley and that courses can't be taken during the summer to fulfill the IGETC requirement. </p>

<p>I'm waiting to hear back from my admissions officer at Berkeley but I'm awfully nervous. This happened because of my own negligence and I have no one to blame but myself. I'd be devastated if I'm unable to attend.</p>

<p>I guess I'd like to know what you usually happens in situations like these. Thanks for your time and attention. </p>
