MIP + UMich Honors Admit...Uh Ohh

<p>I have already been admitted to UofM for this upcoming fall.</p>

<p>I have also been admitted to the Honors program...</p>

<p>Unfortunately I had a little encounter with the MSU police (I'm also unfortunately a local of EL) One thing led to another and i was cited with MIP.</p>

<p>It's probablly to early to be asking this question as the court has yet to convene.</p>

<p>But assuming i get the standard of a misdemenor that is permanently erased after 3 months of probation....</p>

<p>Do I have to tell UMich?</p>

<p>and....Even if i do tell them is it really that big of a deal?</p>

<p>I hate to trivialize it, but im sure this kind of thing happens quite regularly.</p>

<p>I don't beleive misdemenors have to be reported.</p>

<p>Hmm, I dunno. My friend got busted for possession and didn't have his admission rescinded</p>

<p>i know plenty of honors kids that have gotten it since they've been at school, and the program didn't care at all. So just keep on the d/l, lol.</p>
