Miracles Can Happen

At age two, my parents were taken in by the authorities. A foster child for sixteen years, I never really knew what it was like to have that warm, cozy feeling inside; that feeling which some of you may know as family. My aunt and uncle, who have taken me in for the last year, unfortunately could not provide me with the financial resources to attend the university of my choice. I dedicated myself to work and study: no play. However, a ray of sunlight has finally graced my life. A top university has offered me a beautiful financial aid package. I just want to remind you, as these most important decisions finally surface, that miracles can happen. Never lose sight of that, and no matter what, always keep a positive outlook.

I am thrilled for you. You are a testament to the fact that one can rise up from hardships and setbacks if one is motivated and has the drive to succeed. I feel certain you will become a successful person and that you will reach your dreams and goals. All the best to you.

And we think we have problems...CONGRATS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
