<p>So I applied to Texas A&M THE day of the deadline. I didn't receive access to the portal to begin finishing the application until Tuesday of this week, several days after the deadline.</p>
<p>Apparently Texas A&M says all documents such as transcripts and such must be received by the application deadline. Unfortunately I didn't know I wouldnt've had a grace period of a few days to do all that stuff since it says they must RECEIVE (not have it post-marked) by the deadline.</p>
<p>If anyone has any experience with this, should I still submit my documents like transcripts anyways? My application checklist says that they'll only review documents received by the deadline, so I'm afraid submitting my documents now would be a fruitless effort.</p>
<p>I should mention as well that the reason I didn't know that everything had to be submitted by the deadline was because the "how to apply" checklist didn't specify all supporting documents had to be received by the deadline, whereas the checklist you see when you're given access to begin finishing the application online through their status tracker gives more information about the required documents, so I unfortunately I wouldn't have known until it was too late.</p>
