missing one major prep before transfer?

im applying to UCSD for aerospace engineering. problem is i wont be able to finish one major course because OCC, my college, didnt offer it and will not offer it next semester. the course is called applied linear algebra at OCC. its just UCSD that requires this course. my gpa is 3.8.

do you think missing that course could hurt my admission to UCSD. i really want to go to UCSD for personal reasons. i asked this question via email to UCSD, but they didn't really answer my question. they just said take as many major preps as possible.

I think they did answer your question: take as many major preps AS POSSIBLE. If it’s not possible to take a prereq, explain why on the application and you SHOULD not be rejected due to not having completed it.

aerospace engineering is an impact major at UCSD. be sure to explain why you cannot take it next semester.

well…i found out that i need the math course for UCSD after i submitted my application, so i didnt expain why i cannot take the class next semester. i know i was dumb not throughly checking the major requirements for UCSD. should i just chill and let them decide?

^ yes, at this wait, we must all play the waiting game  Speculation makes me nervous, lol

ya, i figured i just need to stop thinking about something i cant change and study the damn finals.
