High School rarely sends people to Ivies, but we did win the goldman sachs award this year, so it is still a competitive school.
I wouldn't need financial aid, i don't know if that affects decision..

<p>I am captain of both the Varsity Soccer and Tennis Teams, and then i'm not captain, at least not yet, of Varsity Petanque</p>

<p>Over 200 Community Service Hours, some at Food 4 Lane ( something to help end hunger problems in Eugene), and then at Sylvan helping students with troubles learning spanish and french improve. I might get letters of rec. from them.</p>

<p>I think you're a solid candidate and your no need for financial aid won't matter as they're looking over your app because, I think, MIT is need-blind.
Your strength in spanish and french is impressive, but I don't think you should take SAT II's in those subjects. I think you should take 2 or 3 SAT II's. I think MIT requires them; check their website. </p>

<p>ull prolly get in, ur a URM, u have good scores, and your president of everything, i have no idea why MIT tho, u dont seem like the real "tech type", have u thought about other Top 20 schools? You seem more like a HYPS type of kid from your stats.</p>
