He could be lying to me, but I do believe him.
Besides, he is quite good at science and stuff.
He got a call from a rep.

MC99, was he a QB applicant?

What is questbridge?
and i dont think so.

QuestBridge is a sort of scholarship program for students from low income families.

Just wondering, because I got a call too two weeks ago (I'm a QB applicant), but he didn't say "you're in" or anything like that. I can't imagine why they'd be calling people specifically over the last week.

I dont want people to freak out or anything.
But like i think they had decisions done like two days ago or three.
They called and told him they want him to go.
So, i think it depends on the reps. Like no official letter or anything, idk at least.

Looks like I'll be at Starbucks tomorrow with my laptop....my town still has no power as a result of the icestorm Thursday night. The damage was so extensive that we have no school until Wednesday....yikes. (BTW, I live in Central Massachusetts (Lunenburg)) Any other MIT hopefuls in a similar situation? I have no power and water at my house (we have a well powered by an electrical pump), unfortunately.

@ synchrotron: "Wholly cow dude, i insanely want to get in and will get in."

...um, a little too confident maybe?

Ima get deferred or rejected. I'm almost sure. I don't know if anybody can be sure that they'll get accepted.

^^^no one knows for sure unless he/she cured a cancer. lol.

this is random, but I was looking at the decisions thread from 2012 and I feel like there were more CCers who applied last year

i am def gonna get rejected here. Prolly not even deferred. My stats are just too low and so are everything including my grammar lol. :)

@ Jaspher - I have friends in the same situation as you. I'm in your general area but I was lucky - my town only lost power for about 8 hours on Friday morning and I slept through approximately 6 of those.

Is the decision site working?

^It is for me.

I made two sets of plans for what I would do after I get the results back. I don't have much under the accepted column but I have a ton of things I plan to do if I get rejected/deferred.

je suis tres anxieuse (this is probably all grammatically wrong...)
