<p>Besides SATs, what can I do to get into MIT? I am a junior in high school but I'm taking all of my classes at community college (seeing how my HS doesn't have AP classes).</p>

<p>Yes I know, I have nothing. I'm in Calculus III now, and I know that if admissions was solely based on academics, I would probably get in. But it isn't, so what can I do within the next year? Are there any good summer programs? Or am I too late in respect to ECs to even think about MIT?</p>

<p>I never quite understood people who think that some school they want to go to is "out of reach" and hence not worth applying to. Doesn't take that long to fill out the app, plus once a teacher does one rec for you, he might as well recycle it for yet another college. Apply and see what happens.</p>
