<p>Ugh I just reread my essays, and am noticing alot of grammatical mistakes. They aren’t THAT bad, you can still understand the main point but it’s like ■■■. Ugh I was in a hurry to submit everything before the deadline,… before it got extended -___-</p>
<p>@IndigoAudri I don’t even want to read my essays for that very reason… I know they suck. >.< Plus, I totally should’ve written about something else for one of my essays… I seriously doubt I was accepted…</p>
<p>@LesleyCordero right! It’s like I wish I could go back and change so many things, <em>sigh</em> but don’t say that! Have hope I mean maybe they might only accept people who posted on CC (extremely unlikely but eh i’m trying to look on the optimistic side!)</p>
<p>Was there a min/max to the words or characters for the essays? I feel like mine were too short :/</p>
<p>so a couple of notes
- there were a couple of people in my class who were not URM (like literally 2 I believe)- but there are factors besides URM considered
- I know of at least one person who was admitted off wait list (maybe another one could have too, as I almost declined the acceptance
)</p>

<p>@knitswim: was there any particular reason the non-URM’s got in? Did they have some other type of hook such as geographic, first-gen, etc.? Or did they just have insane stats?</p>
