Mixing and Matching SAT Score.

I got a 1420 on the recent SAT. This isn't bad, but I didn't break the 1500 Barrier. So this means I'll have to take it again. This was my first time. I got a 730 on verbal which I'm pretty pleased with. What sucks is that I got a 690 on Math. Being a Junior in Calc BC, this is unbelievable. Either I'm really, really stupid or I made alot of careless mistakes.

I'm pretty confident in my ability to pull math to an 800. Is it possible to mix and match scores? To pair the verbal from this test with the math from the future test? Or would this look bad? Would it be better to get 1500 on one sitting?

Thanks.

Bumpity Bump Bump. Please!

Some schools let you mix and match like Stanford. The UC (University of California) system definitely will not let you do that.

Will the Ivies allow it?

yea, most schools do mix and match scores, including ivies

Will colleges allow you to mix and match scores from the old and the new SAT
(if anyone knows)?

hey yeah could i ask how the colleges receive the scores and how the schools evaluate them.
if you take more than 3 subject tests would the schools just choose the top 3 themselves or must you indicate which 3 (if that's possible)

thanks thanks guys.

yea that is my question as well
