Anyone with info on quality of the undergrad business program at Mizzou? I know it doesn’t have the reputation of Kelly School at Indiana Bloomington, but we can’t afford Indiana. Are Mizzou grads getting jobs? All I hear are good things about the Journalism program at Mizzou, but what about those who went to the Business school at Mizzou?
Our daughter just graduated from Mizzou with a business degree. She loved the school and the academic advising was first rate. The staff was easy to get appointments when needed. Professors were knowledgeable, available and classes interesting. We are from the west coast. Our Daughter returned home after graduation and was able to secure a job, in her preferred field, one week after she returned. Our D first went to Mizzou as a journalism major, then made the switch to Business and it was the right choice.
Thank you @karatemom for your post. Glad to hear your daughter had a great experience with Mizzou and was able to land a job with her business degree. It sounds like a great school but I hear so much about their Journalism program and nothing about the other programs that I was concerned it might not be up to par with other schools. We are also west coast (California) and with the merit aid Mizzou offers it makes it cheaper to than a UC school, but I was concerned about the academics in the non-journalism majors. Any advice for other west coasters planning on attending Mizzou?
