MLK Scholarship?

<p>Can anyone tell me what my odds of getting the MLK Scholarship are?</p>

<p>Male
Texas
Competitive Public High School
4.11 GPA weighted, unsure of unweighted GPA
2220 SAT 760 Math, 720 CR, 740 W
750 APUSH subj test
630 Lit Subject Test
Over 150 hours of comm service
Competitive swimmer for 9 years
I’m not sure how the last few things will help because i think the scholarship is solely academic, but the scholarship would be a great incentive to go there. I know I have to write a great essay ad get my counselor to sign me off, but putting those aside, what are my chances at this scholarship?</p>

<p>The scholarship is actually less about academics and more about leadership. So if you have very strong leadership and community service experience in high school, you have a better chance. I’m not sure exactly of the chances or stats though.</p>

<p>You need to have top notch academics, leadership, and social service. Have a couple of friends that got the scholarship and they all have amazing stats</p>
