I don't know this topic can be included in this board but anyways..
I'd like to volunteer at Model United Nations this spring. Do I have to have previous experience at MUN to help?

I'd recommend that you do. A lot of the procedures may seem a little alien if you volunteer without previous experience but I'm pretty sure it won't take you that long to get in the know. Basically it's formatted like the UN General Assembly. Resolution writing, getting them approved, lobbying, debating, voting.

rinysline, which conference do you plan to volunteer in?

like joytotheworld said, it's better if you have previous experience, or if someone taught you the rules of procedure, or if you at least sat-in on a conference and watched how committeed worked. previous experience is a big plus.

however, if you don't have any experience, some conferences have an "assistant moderator" position or something similar, where you basically assist the other Chairs in their duties (perhaps taking role, making copies of resolutions, etc.)... if you're looking for an administrative role, the higher positions are usually given to very experienced MUNers, but you could possible take an assistant administrative role, like assisting the officers in logistical work, conference setup, technology, etc etc.
