More APs vs. Higher GPA?

I know this gets asked a lot and there is no clear answer to this, but I just really want some input.

I'm in my senior year and looking into pre-med as a major. I'm aiming for ivies and top-tier colleges, so I've taken the max amount of APs offered at my school each year.
So I took AP Euro this year and, looking at my progress report, it's killing my GPA :/ I mean I definitely think I can work harder in that class, but I also know that my GPA would undoubtedly go up if I dropped it.
I mean, history is the subject that I've had the most problems with throughout high school, and I don't even want to go into it, so do you think colleges might disregard the lower grade because of my major?

Should drop it and have one less AP class (my school offers very few as it is) or continue with it and risk a lower GPA?

Any opinions would be appreciated! Thanks :)

I would continue with it. Challenge yourself. Admissions officers say that Ivy students usually have healthy mixes of A’s and B’s.

You want to take the most challenging schedule you can while succeeding. a B is not a game changer.

Stick with it, they’ll see that you tried at something even though it wasn’t your strong point. Do work extra hard though to try and bring it up. I had that class as a high school sophomore haha, horrible experience. That AP is killer. Basically “Please memorize the history of the world, from the start of time until now, thanks”

Edit: and if you don’t have one, they sell workbooks that summarize a lot of era’s and important events for that test, it helps a lot
