more than 70 transferable units?

I understand that a student can only have up to 70 units transferred as unit credit. But if I have more than 70 transferable units at CCCs, the extra units (over 70) would be able to satisfy prerequisites for upper-division courses at the university, right?

Thanks guys, this forum has been very helpful.

Yes, those classes would still fulfill prereqs. They will manually choose which classes to take from your total units, making sure that all your requirements and prereqs are filled.

Anyone know what happens to the other units? I heard they become subject credit. If so, does that factor into your unit cap at the UC's?
