I read the book, The Pact, by Jodi Picoult... it was the most amazing book i have read in my entire life. I was crying in most parts, if any one has read this i would love to hear your thoughts!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ( if you haven't read this ... you must!)

I remember seeing something like that on a made-for-TV movie. It was decent; I suppose the book is much better?

I believe it was made into a lifetime movie, but i never saw it. Based on most lifetime movies i wouldn't trust the movie to tell what the book is like i absolutely love it and am positive it is better than the movie as most books are lol

orly?
what's the book about

A pact between a boyfriend and girlfriend for suicide. The girlfriend dies and there's a bunch of legal cases. It's been a while since I saw that movie.

Many of Picoult's books could be made into Lifetime movies. She's OK but I think overrated.

You should also read My Sisters Keeper if you liked the Pact.

Ah, Jodi Picoult.
Admittedly, I've only read one of her books (Nineteen Minutes), but I don't plan on reading any more. Gorgeous style, but flat, largely static characters = lose.

I love Jodi Picoult. I think her books are kind of predictable, but...she is one of my favorite authors. I didn't like her most recent book, Change of Heart...but...she's great.

Jodi Picoult is a terrible writer. I mean awful. She's the kind of writer who fools people into thinking she is really profound, but she's actually just crappy and overzealous and pretty ignorant.
