students who always say their schools suck…and complain about loss of sports team…even though they dont play anything…and go home right after school…
do you guys have any type of students that are annoying you constantly??

students who ALWAYS want to see the classes last class notes/homework assignment/completed studyguide (and have not been absent) and yet have no other connection to your life. Its like "Cmon, now. Give and take. I did not put you down on my income tax, you do not get to be my dependent."

Students who focus to the point of absurdity on being admitted to Ivy League colleges.

Students who sign up for AP/Dual Enrollment classes who don't have a clue what they're getting into.

Point in case:

Girl in my DE English Language class upon reading "When in the course..." says "Isn't it 'We the people?'" to which the teacher replies "That would be the Constitution."...to which the girl says "THERE'S ANOTHER ONE?"

The day after the drop deadline, half our class was gone because people would rather drop the class than their job, stating "I didn't think it would be so much work."

/rant

tostito:

my ap bio class
50+ before summer break and got their summer assignment->14 for 1st semester->10 for 2nd semester...

the grade obsessed: overly concerned with what everyone got on the test, has memorized the top 20 rankings and needs to know everyone's GPA when report cards come out

those with naggy parents: kids that may slack off at school, but they have parents that will do anything to get their grades changed or intimidate teachers, thinking that their students are perfect little angels

I second newest newb.

Haha, technol, I know the top 20 rankings but only because they're all my friends :)

Except for number 9...>.<

But at my school the top 5% of the class is mostly friends with each other since we see each other in the same classes.

-the kids that are the most rowdy and break the law are the ones that the teachers somehow like the best (within the IB program at my school), because they can be so incredibly two-faced and act like angels in front of teachers.

Kids who make me do all the work in group projects. Sigh...

Kids who get away with everything like turning stuff in late and who are egotistical.

The kids who are such know-it-alls and are super arrogant and think they're Gods Gift to the world. Drives me INSANE.

Kids that charm their teachers and students - telling jokes throughout the class and never getting caught whereas other students would get caught. It's worse when these very kids are the MIT + GPA-obsessed

Kids who are just so obnoxiously loud during class and act all tough, then when the test comes, they copy off the nearest asian.

Kids who say they failed, when they ended up getting a 95 or something.

Kids who do absolutely nothing in class, and yet pull off an A average.

Talk about the CC family, haha.

So true. Plus the kids who ask "How many A's are given in this class?" on the first day of an AP class, then complain about it all semester but don't drop it.

I wish there was a school where everyone yearns to learn, and stays QUIET during a teachers lesson, with mature students.

"Kids that charm their teachers and students - telling jokes throughout the class and never getting caught whereas other students would get caught."

Now wait a second. What's wrong with being personable and witty?

I highly agree with you melancholy

kids in english that have lower grades than me, that contribute less than i do to class discussions- and when they do, aren't that insightful- and are still among the teacher's favorite. and i'm not.

god. i hate this.
