Most Beautiful Campus

Iv heard ....
would anyone care to illustrate...
even share experiences of witnessing something scenic...

Cornell in itself is pretty gorgeous; it has some nice buildings and large expanses of green grass that you can see from places that are higher up. The roads are smooth and lined by nice sidewalks; to prove my point, my tour guide walked backwards the whole time. You should really visit though to get the whole experience. The only thing perhaps that isn’t quite pleasing depending on who you are is the farmland outside it.

i really do think its the most beautiful campus i’ve ever seen—but more so in the summer and fall, than the winter that tends to be when most students are there. staying in ithaca for a summer was one of the best decisions i’ve ever made.

its just how much nature surrounds it, the gorges, cayuga lake, the plantations, wineries, the fingerlakes, the mountains–i took a backpacking gym class which also made my appreciate this more. the older buildings, like balch, the arts quad, and the west campus gothics, also look amazing with the scenery.

the foliage of upstate new yok in the fall is also gorgeous

i didn’t really notice how beautiful it is until sophomore year, freshman year was just so busy and full of the excitement of starting college life. but sophomore year i’d sometimes just be walking to class on an october morning, across the footbridge, and stop for a second and go…wow…i can’t believe this is where i go to school
plus its great to explore the area, wineries, the farmers market, etc.

I soo agree with you alamode about how beautiful the Cornell campus is. Plus close to campus there are 4 state parks, 40-mile-long Cayuga Lake, dozens of waterfalls and gorges…

bump…

…in the best college town…
