Move-In Assistant Questions

Were we supposed to have gotten a different parking pass than the one that came in with our assigned parking day? Because my pass was for the 18th, but since we'll be moving in on the 14th, I'm not sure what to do about parking.
Also, will they have the carts at the parking lots, or do we have to go get them from the dorm area and bring them back to the cars?
What's the earliest time we can check-in? My parents will want to walk around with me, so 6:00pm isn't the greatest time since dinner's like at 6:45.

hey hey! Don’t know about parking, sorry.

But!!! Carts are in your building, and you get them in there and return them back to the dorms once you’ve unloaded into your room.

My email stated check-in to be 8 am to anytime before 5 pm because there will be mtgs that are mandatory in the evening.

How many emails have you guys received regarding this move-in assistant thing? I got “confirmation” that I was accepted as a move-in assistant, and my email said that the Resident Director or the Student Leader would contact me, but I haven’t been contacted since my confirmation. I emailed the resident director today; hopefully the person will respond soon… :/

Yeah, I got the same  My director told me to ask transportation, so I’ll be waiting on a response from them about the parking.
I wish they would tell us our schedules like noww

My email said we could move in anytime Tuesday September after 2pm (originally they said after 6pm). And then it said some meetings were on Wed but I don’t know anything about dinner at 6:45 on Tuesday. When I asked the person who emailed me what our move-in instructions were, maybe she must have misunderstood because she said we would find out at our meeting. But won’t we be already moved in by then?

I’m an MIA for De Neve, and I’ve also only gotten that first email and nothing else.

maybe it differs for which building you’re MIAing for? i’m one for hitch.
well they told me to call the ORL, so i did, and they just said that parking doesn’t matter since the whole point of parking schedules was to not have like 10000 people come at one time, and since we’re MIAs, we could just tell them that we’re moving in early to help

Do we have to pay for parking? I didn’t confirm a spot for my regular move-in date because I got my MIA email. Up to now there are still no details about what time I’m moving in and which parking lot I’m supposed to use.
