Move-in Maker, worth it?

Hey guys!
I heard that as a move-in maker you get to move in pretty early compared to everyone else (which would be pretty great). But has anyone done this? If so, how is it?

I know you have to help people move, especially during Welcome Week, which I would like to attend most it. If you are doing this, is it time consuming?

Thanks!

I think there may already be a thread on this topic. A move-in-maker gets to move in early without having the pay the extra charge to move in early. You have to work a few shifts during move-in. The good thing is being able to move in early and meeting the other move-in-makers is a way to make some new friends. The negative I have heard is that there may be stuff going on while you are working and you will miss out on that.

When I moved in last year it was so unbelievably hot. I wouldn’t want to be standing out there moving some girl’s 4th giant suitcase full of designer clothes in late August heat.
