<p>I haven’t really found anywhere to hang out… maybe the lounge downstairs… play some pool… walk to the beach… there’s not that much to do for some reason!</p>

<p>go to the orientation events, some highlights:</p>
<p>3x academic counseling. These are required, boring, you sit in a room suffocating (not lieing) while they lecture you. These are the only required things you do, other than getting ur access card. Rest is optional.</p>
<p>Go on tours (campus, library, rec center, IV (HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT!) On our trip, there were some hilarious surprises. Not going to spoil it, but ill say 1 word, PIRATE!!! Just keep that in mind. </p>
<p>Go to the beach on your own time. </p>
<p>You can do student life workshop. I didn’t go. i heard you do skits, but i was sleeping cuz i was tired.</p>
<p>Mock lecture. Didnt go, didnt sound too appealing.</p>
<p>The theater show. HIGHLY RECOMMEND. Seriously. VERY INTERESTING BUT I WONT SPOIL IT. JUST GO!!!</p>
<p>Student night out. this varies. You can choose wut to do. Go to woodstocks, into IV, play board games.</p>
<p>Im sure it will be more fun and things to do once school really starts. You will be around familiar friends, meet new people (oh yea, u can do that too), and actually explore more than what the campus and IV offers.</p>

<p>the walking tour? there was a tour the other day, but not part of orientation. it was a 2 hour walking tour… is that what you’re talking about? i didn’t want to walk for 2 hours so i didn’t really go… but i might go if it was fun!</p>
<p>Oh no. I went on a tour that was relatively short, it was part of orientation. The pirate showed up on our tour too.</p>
