moving in to rieber hall

sorry if someone alrady asked this

which parking lot is the best if I'm moving in to rieber hall?

and can someone explain the whole procedure like where to check in and where to get wat

rieber: i think you go to lot 7 (in front of pauley). you can load your stuff into the cart and they will transport you and your stuff to rieber

they send u to lot 7, but if u come with more than 1 person, one can wait in the car at lot 17 which is muchhhhhhhhhhh closer. i recommend getting the cart at hedrick hall because thats closer to lot 17. then just take ur stuff to rieber and ull c where to get in line for ur key and stuff. also, take 2 forms of id

Hi. I'm a bit confused on the unloading of stuff during move-in. On my pass it says the short-term parking is in lot 11 South. That means I go there first and unload everything? Then park in the long-term parking (Lot 11 north). Next I would have someone watch my stuff as I go to the lobby and get my cart and room key? I return to where I unloaded, pack everything up again, and move it into the dorms, right? Sorry if this is supposed to be really obvious. Just want to make sure I don't do something stupid when I'm there.

yeah, i'd rather have my stuff trucked up to rieber for me than to push it from lot 17. ;)

oh, theres a giant hill to get to lot 17 too. and im not sure they will even let you go there.

everyone, calm down. move in is VERY VERY well organized. just goto your designated area on your parking pass and people will tell you exactly where you need to go and what to do. once you get onto campus everything is coned off and there are giant signs directing you to where you need to go for each hall.

lot 17 is very close to rieber

i think you mean lot 15, because lot 17 is allllll the way down by SRLF (again, big hill. dont let the proximity on the map fool you). plus you pass by rieber on the way from lot 17 to hedrick, so why on earth would you goto all the way up to hedrick to get a cart?

and like i said above, im not sure if they even allow people to go willy nilly into whatever lot they choose because it would be chaotic, and move in is VERY well controlled and organized. besides, lot 15 has been filled with construction equipment and fenced off from what i remember.

i moved into rieber from 17 today and i didnt think it was very far at all. hmmm
maybe i was just expecting to walk a lot more lol

what time did you move in? im surprised it wasnt coned off.

6-8 .
