Is there a limit as to how much things one can bring into their dorm? Also, what would you say are common things some students forget to bring to ol' Gainesville? Printer/mini-fridge/mini-microwave recommended?

I don't plan on bringing any gaming consoles...for evident reasons, lol.

their checklist pretty much covers everything. printer and mini-fridge are pretty essential. microwave isn’t as important because each common area has one.

not bringing the consoles is probably a good idea.

Other then a square foot limit, and safety limits (Can’t have those weird multi-bulb lamps), and consumption limits (can only have certain sized fridge, so no rolling in a full size) you’re fine.

Me and my roommate shared a microwave, and a printer, but each had our own mini-fridge. We also shared a TV. First week there a bought a set of those plastic organizers that have drawers, since I didn’t think there was nearly enough storage space in my dorm.

I brought my Wii, glad I did. Great way to meet people during the first couple weeks (prop the door open then go to town with some wii tennis)
