I’m sorry I can’t answer your question, but I’m on Lyman Briggs waitlist so I’ll wait with you
Good luck though :D

Hey there,
I think everyone eventually gets into their choice of residential college program. I’m sure fa-la-la will pop into the forum after this week (it’s finals week!) and she will be able to give you more advice, especially since she is in James Madison.

It’s possible, but you may not get in the first semester. You’ll almost certainly get in second semester if not the first. I think that fa-la-la-lena just went to an advisor and they changed her major right away (but I could be wrong).

Also, I know at least in my RC, you can get overrides to take RC classes if you intend on changing your major as soon as there is room. not sure if this is different for JMC.

You can definitely still get into james madison. They might waitlist you at first for the residential program but if you are persistent they will let you in. Just bother the advisors about it at AOP and that sort and you should be fine. Otherwise if you are still on the waitlist when you first get to state for fall welcome talk to an advisor then and it should be no big deal at all.
