Mt Holyoke Finaid for International Students

Hi everyone,

I got accepted into Mt Holyoke (Class 2015) with about 50% finaid. The thing is, my dad's job is based on contracts, of which the current one ends in September 2011.

Even with about 50% finaid, the family contribution comes up to about US$26000+ a year, and while this is bearable with a source of income, it'll be a nightmare if my dad were to lose his employment (contract ends and isn't renewed).

The admission for Moho is 'need-aware' or sth like that for intl students, but does anyone know the policy for reconsideration of aid (for intl students).

I know that they say they will take things like loss of employment into consideration, but I want to know if it applies to intl students too, and what are the chances that my request will be accepted (with like $0 income).

Thanks for reading this lengthy msg! :)

That’s something that you should discuss directly with the financial aid office, not a bunch of strangers on an anonymous web forum. In the meantime:
