<p>I want to start a Mu Alpha Theta chapter at my school, but we already have a math team that does regional competitions. If I were to start a chapter, what should we do? I know the Spanish National Honor Society at our school is basically a tutoring program. Should I do the same with Mu Alpha Theta (where we tutor kids in math)?</p>

<p>its not pointless, mu alpha theta is the math honor society where u actually have to be good at math to get in. math team at some schools they let anyone in, its like a club where u just take contests.<br>
i dont know how you would go about starting a chapter. but if u r successful, yes it would have to look pretty good i guess</p>
