<p>Congrats? I hope I broke an 80 this semester. My first 2 marking periods for APUSH was 73 and 78 respectively.</p>
<p>oh, i studied so hard yesterday, went through almost whole book, spent like 9 hours..........or otherwise i cannot pass through.........</p>
<p>78 is pretty close, if u can do EXCELLENT on final, u can break through it too~~~~~~~</p>

<p>It's too bad... we didn't get a final for APUSH. But I got a 58 on a MC test and an 80 on an essay test and a 15/20 on a quiz. I also did all my homework, but lacked participation. Also, I got a 73 on my research paper. I hope this is an 80+!</p>

<p>Anyways APUSH has got to be the hardest course I've taken, thank god extra credit is offered, otherwise no one would've got an A</p>
<p>My APUSH class is easy; I am just dumb. Lots of people get A's in my class, because it's a two year course, so we go pretty slow. But I can hardly pull an 80.</p>

<p>the teacher didnt give us any of the homework(except he requires us to read every night, and sometime do some research, he makes us to read the Unlce Tom's Cabin, and he puts an essay question about the UTC on the final-_-), but he gives 3 quizes in just a week for every week. fortunely it only takes up 10% of the total grade. other 90% is chapter tests and DBQs.</p>

I have a 78 avg for the quarter currently, and I just took the midterm today. I feel like I failed miserably.... but maybe there was a miracle?</p>

<p>Do you guys use the American Pageant text book? If so, the night before the test just read the chapter twice through. Thats what I always do, and I have a 99 average for the first quarter and I got a 100 on the midterm. Also, one of the reasons I think I do good is because I love history. When you are reading, try to pretend you are really interested, and it may stick with you.</p>
<p>An 85.5 is an A? Are you kidding me? You mean my friends and I are workings our butts off trying to get between a 93-100, and you get an A for 85.5%? So a B is like a 75.5? Why is the world so cruel?!!!!</p>
<p>actually its 90 - 100, but the teacher promise us to give us 4% of extra credit, by the way we dont have any except that. so 89.5 rounds to a 90 wich is A:)</p>
<p>oh...I am slightly less jealous, but I would still love to get 4% extra credit (my teachers think that giving 2 extra points on an assignment is "extra credit" lol)</p>
